ACA Marketplace health coverage

Confused by the Marketplace? You are not supposed to figure it out alone.

Tell Krystal Londono, a licensed insurance agent, a little about your household. She will tell you plainly whether you likely qualify for a subsidy and what plans are available to you. Free, no obligation, no cost to ask.

Two ways to start

Not a government site. Krystal is an independent, licensed agent, not CMS or healthcare.gov.

What this covers

Do I actually qualify for a subsidy?

It depends on your household size and income compared to the federal poverty guideline for your state, so there is no single answer here. Krystal will walk through your actual numbers with you, at no cost to ask.

Subsidy check

A plain-language look at whether your household likely qualifies for a premium tax credit.

Plan comparison

Bronze, Silver and Gold explained in plain terms, matched to how you actually use care.

Open enrollment dates

When you can actually enroll, and what to do if you missed the window.

Life events

Losing coverage, a move, marriage or a new baby can open a special enrollment period.

Who you are actually talking to

A licensed agent, not a call center script.

Krystal Londono is a licensed life and health insurance producer in all 50 states, National Producer Number 16261381, with over 16 years of experience. ACA Marketplace enrollment guidance is one of her core services, alongside life insurance and tax preparation.

This is not a government website. Krystal is an independent, licensed agent, not the Health Insurance Marketplace, CMS or healthcare.gov, and this page is not an offer of insurance in any state where she is not currently licensed to transact business.

Questions

ACA questions, answered plainly.

Is asking about my options actually free?

Yes. Answering the questions on this page and talking with Krystal about your options costs nothing. If you enroll in a plan through her, she is paid by the carrier, the same way any licensed agent is, never by charging you a fee.

What is the difference between a subsidy-eligible plan and a private plan?

An ACA Marketplace plan can come with a premium tax credit, or subsidy, based on your household size and income, which lowers your monthly cost. A private plan bought outside the Marketplace is never eligible for that subsidy, even if the coverage looks similar.

When can I actually enroll?

Open enrollment happens once a year on a schedule set by CMS. Outside that window, you can only enroll if you have a qualifying life event, like losing other coverage, moving, marriage or having a baby, which opens a special enrollment period.

I missed open enrollment. What are my options?

Tell Krystal what happened. If you have a qualifying life event, a special enrollment period may still be open to you. If not, she can explain what coverage options exist outside the Marketplace until the next open enrollment window.

Is Protected With Love a government website?

No. Krystal Londono is an independent, licensed insurance agent. She is not the federal or state Health Insurance Marketplace, not CMS, and not healthcare.gov. She helps you understand and enroll in Marketplace plans, she does not run the Marketplace.

How do I know if my income qualifies me for help paying my premium?

Eligibility is based on your household size and income compared to the federal poverty guideline for your state. Krystal will look at your actual numbers with you. This page uses rounded, illustrative figures for planning only, never the exact current guideline as a substitute for a real check.

Can Krystal help me pick between plans, not just enroll?

Yes. Plan comparison, meaning Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers, networks, and what you would actually pay out of pocket, is part of the conversation, not just paperwork after you have already decided.

What states does Krystal serve for ACA enrollment?

Krystal is licensed to sell insurance in all 50 states and works with clients remotely nationwide for ACA Marketplace guidance, with in-person meetings available in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties in South Florida.

Does this replace or affect my Marketplace application?

No. This page and the free membership are informational and do not submit anything to CMS or any Marketplace on their own. Your actual Marketplace application and subsidy eligibility are handled separately, based on the household and income information you provide during that specific process.

How is my information kept private?

Information you submit here is used to respond to your request and, if you consent, to follow up with you. Details are in the privacy policy. It is not sold to other agents or brokers.
